AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and beverage vendors prioritise providing fans with a diverse array of international and local culinary delights, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. However, be prepared that the prices are higher - in comparison to average F1 venues (salad costs around 20 EUR, same applies for pizza).

Please note that the payment can be made mostly by credit card.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

Traditionally, the F1 race in Monaco takes place in May, which is generally a pleasant time of year for weather in the region. In May, daytime temperatures in Monaco typically range from 18°C to 22°C (64°F to 72°F), while nighttime temperatures can drop to around 13°C to 16°C (55°F to 61°F). The month is known for having plenty of sunshine, with an average of 8 to 10 hours of sunshine per day. Rainfall in May is moderate, with occasional light showers, averaging about 40 to 60 mm for the month.
